Multi-Axis Counter-Balanced Lever ArmsDesigned to minimize stress on microdialysis probes, our counter-balanced lever arms move vertically and horizontally with the animal to prevent slack in the tether. While most other lever arms use a mass as the counterbalance, these use adjustable springs to make them lighter and more responsive. The mounting plate can be adjusted for mounting to the side or top of many types of cages, including our round rodent enclosures (MTANK and STANK). The MCLA is a 6-inch (15cm) arm that is typically used with rats. The SMCLA is a 3 1?2-inch (9cm) arm that is practically a requirement for any study involving tethered mice.
