 (Click to see larger image) Narishige's MO-903D is part of MO-903, an ultracompact micromanipulator whose coarse control permits the initial positioning of a microelectrode near the target point, while the fine control enables fine approaches toward the target point. With the experiment finished or when intending to conduct continuous recording, the animal can be set free by putting this cap on. When resuming recording, simply remove the cap. In this way, the use of this cap permits long hours of recording without having to reset the manipulators.(It is possible to put the cap on while the microelectrode is being held by the fine micromanipulator ( MO-903B) Specification
